What does teeth whitening involve?
If you’re looking to receive teeth whitening near you, it will typically require two visits. During your first visit, impressions (molds) of your teeth will be made. These are used to fabricate custom, clear plastic trays.
During your second visit, you will try on the trays to ensure a proper fit; adjustments will be made if needed. The trays will be worn for a few weeks–depending on the extent of staining and desired level of whitening. Experiencing tooth sensitivity during the time you whiten your teeth is normal, this will dissipate shortly after you have stopped bleaching.
